Description
If you are someone who gets along well with others, is comfortable as part of a team, yet capable to carry out project aspects independently when needed, has good hand-eye coordination, values quality and job safety and has the hands-on skill set to work comfortably with varied methods & tools as may be required for problem solving involving new and/or modifications to existing construction projects- then you will have the strengths needed to succeed in this line of work.
About this Position:
Full time- 30-35 hours per week
$17.00 to 20.00/hour

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assess needed repairs & determine best methods to utilize adhering to safety codes & regulations
- If required, can draw out a rough visual design if obvious changes/modifications are intended or recommended
- Determine priority on a safety and need basis
- Provide decisions and timeline for individual project(s) for progress
- Consult findings with site supervisor, set up an agreeable working schedule for projects
- Ensure all repairs /projects are completed with a high sense of quality, efficiently, and in a safe manner
Qualifications:
- Recognized Carpentry program /Diploma
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to communicate in writing (cursive) and verbally with others
- Ability to follow directions, understand floor plans, visualize ideas
- Ability to work independently yet consulting with staff if necessary
