Sales Associate (Full-Time) – Schwartz Furniture | Sydney, NS

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver an exceptional in-store experience by greeting and assisting customers
  • Understand customer needs and recommend the right furniture & products
  • Use our proven sales process to guide customers from browsing to purchase
  • Build long-term relationships through trust and product knowledge
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom
  • Collaborate with team members and delivery staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Accurately process sales transactions
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, trends, and promotions
  • Assist with inventory and showroom setup, including light furniture assembly

What We’re Looking For

  • Sales or customer service experience (furniture experience is an asset, not required)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly
  • results-driven mindset with a desire to earn commission
  • Interest in home décor, furniture, or design
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Basic computer/POS skills
  • Ability to lift and move furniture as needed
  • Flexible availability (evenings & weekends required)

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

  • sales: 3 years (preferred)
